strive for two things in design: simplicity and clarity. Great design is born of those two things.” – Lindon Leader
Hello! I’m Jessica Necor, a visual designer and maker based in Portland, Oregon.
I’m a Bay Area native and a graduate from the Laguna College of Art + Design with a BFA in Design + Digital Media.
With 5 years of design experience in a variety of industries, from action sports and footwear design to the contemporary art gallery world, I’ve successfully collaborated with teams to bring beautiful design solutions to life.
Growing up in the Bay Area, a place where art and social justice intersect, I was challenged to use art as activism. It was the lens through which I could approach problems and causes I cared about. During my time in college I cultivated my love for typography, UI, product design, branding, and learned how to use all of the above to build experiences and tools that make the world better.
When I’m not pushing pixels, you can find me exploring Oregon, sketching patterns, sewing leather goods, and printing textiles by hand for my brand Jessica Necor Studio.
